We never needed any specific reason in celebrating the happier moments of our life together. It’s all that happens by itself. Any unusual reason may be enough for our reunion. 2008 is the year when we all passed out our 4 year course B-Tech. We neither got a chance to count the time when we were studying nor even after passing out. Because we stayed the same and maintained a deep relationship with everyone’s desire. We are not many but few may be very few. But we are forever Friends.
This Monday i.e. 09th January, 2012, a unanimously accepted picnic was arranged to Kapilash, Dhenkanal. Kapilash is famous for the presence of Lord Shiva and many say the Lord seems to be lively.
It happens to be an unlikely arranged program for all of us. Thanx to Ashok, Maharaj, K for Rocky, Bibhu, Maheswar Bhai, Jimmy Bhai, Satya and little contribution from my side along with the blessings of the Lord Shiva made our trip finalized within few minutes and the date was 08-01-12, The Sunday. Something resulted out of nothing in just no time. But due to some of my personal problems I was not able to join the party on the decided date. I was very sad and undone too. When I narrated my problem to my friends and asked them to move to Kapilash without me, all of them got annoyed with me not just because I am not joining them on the decided date rather it was due to I did not let them know the fact and not said them to postpone the picnic for the immediate next day i.e. on Monday. I remained shocked.
Ashok took an additional risky leave from Office, Bibhu stopped his work, Satya made some changes in his routine, K for Rocky & Jimmy Bhai were the darlings as they had no changes in their mood and even in their plans. At last we drove to Kapilash to visit the Lord Shiva’s Temple. What a divine & elegant place Kapilash was! We had the very rare Besha of Lord Shiva and hopefully got blessed too. Four of us tried to visit “Maa Sita’s Entudisala & Deba Sabha” which were very close to that place and may be on the same mountain. Believe me, it made our tour lively, adventurous and exciting. Ha ha…!!! We continued climbing. After around 30 minutes of long walk we reached at Maa Banadurga Temple. Maa was placed in a cave like structure. It may be purely natural. But it was there for us to get blessed by Maa Durga too in that jungle. Then shortly we reached at Maa Sita’s Entudisala, It was excellent and divine. After again a continuous walk of 15-20 minutes we finally reached to the long awaited Deba Sabha. The eagerness came to an end by realizing the moment at that point. The same is almost unexplainable.
Within that moment we had 4-5 times calls from our Friends those who waited for us near the Car. They were little bit tensed for us and worried too. Yes, they had the right. But it’s all the blessings & the want of the Almighty we returned safely. We had undergone almost the last stage of hunger as many of us had not taken either complete Breakfast or any assisting food for the journey. We immediately left for Dattatreya Ashram, a nearby Sai Baba Temple, where we had already kept out meals reserved. We very humbly visited the Temple and tried to realize the blessings of Sai Baba on us by allowing us to have his Prasad. What a beautiful lunch was that. It was almost like the Mahaprasad of Lord Jagannath of Puri. It was extra ordinary.
Now, it was time to return back to Puri. Ashok and Bibhu had to stay in Bhubaneswar and Ashok would leave for his one night journey to office and Bibhu to finish his work. Rest of us travelled to Puri with lots of fun, cheer and memories. We may not get the same time again but the snaps taken together and the moments spent together would definitely keep our memories alive for a long time and again would surely enforce us to have the next reunion soon.
I treat myself very lucky for having such friends who are always there to join me in my happiness & sorrows. Everyone has such bonding with their friends for sure. They know & realize the presence of a friend with them always alongside their family. Let this love continue forever.
Do Believe in God.
Keep Smiling.
Mahaprasad Mishra.
